- As someone who has been running with 4os2.exe (a CMD.EXE clone), as my
- RUNWORKPLACE for a couple of weeks now, let me comment.
-
- The purpose of shutdown seems to be twofold: first, to terminate any
- running sessions, and second, to save the state of the WPS. The first
- of these actions can be done manually, and the second is irrelevant if
- you don't have the WPS loaded.
-
- What I have been doing is pressing CTRL-ALT-DEL to flush the cache
- before powering off the machine. This seems to work fine, I haven't had
- any problems at all with the system.
