- Mucking with the autoexec.bat wouldn't cause your problem. Mucking
- with the CONFIG.SYS in the same manner definitely would. Are you
- sure this isn't what happened? When I have experiemented with CONFIG.SYS
- and thoroughly broken my system in a similar manner, I used a DOS
- 3.3 disk to boot and edlin the CONFIG.SYS. I have experienced no
- no problems from doing so. (Your mileage may vary, but I doubt it)
