  12. Dear folks,
  13. I've some problems with installing the ATI Graphics Ultra driver. I installed
  14. the driver according to the readme.1st file but the changing of resolution does
  15. not work. At the end of booting there is a beeping (three times) and the
  16. resolution goes back to 640x480. It doesn't matter whether I put
  17. SET ATI_RES=1024x768 or SET ATI_RES=800x600.

  19. By the way, for the monitor itself the resolution is no problem. The install-
  20. program that came with the card accepted the configuration of the resolution
  21. without errors. Who can help?
