  15. Last night (Tuesday, 8/11/92) the Nightly Business Report made mention
  16. of the fact that IBM had sold its 1 millionth copy of OS/2 2.0.  They,
  17. IBM and other industry analysts, expected the millionth version to be
  18. sold in December of '92.  They said that this signals that it may be a
  19. stronger force than was previously anticipated.

  21. In the same report they mentioned that Microsoft reports 16 milliion
  22. copies of Windows 3.1.  Well, that is not exactly the way the
  23. Microsoft spokesman said it.  He said that 16 million machines are
  24. _running_ Windows 3.1.  I wonder how they know whether the machines
  25. are running it or if they have crashed :)?
