- Are you taling about LAN Manager? If so, Microsoft sells LAN Manager
- Remote Access Service, which lets users gain complete access to the LAN
- as if they were at their desk, including named pipes, SQL servers, file
- and print sharing, etc. Administration is easy: just another permission
- in the user's account.
