  30. The TCP/IP stuff is NOT dependent on OS/2 ES or LS. You only need the base
  31. OS/2 2.0 package (and I think it runs under v1.3 as well). I've seen it
  32. installed on 3 PC's here, all of which had OS/2 2.0 installed from the
  33. Windows/DOS upgrade deal (i.e. $49 package) and they all run the network
  34. stuff without too many hitches. I can say that if you intend to run the
  35. base package and NFS you would be better off to have 16MB of RAM, as you
  36. state this fellow has. 8MB is BARELY enough and there is a severe
  37. performance penalty if you have 8MB or less. Now, that said, maybe they
  38. were telling him to get ES and that would fix his problem? Doesn't make
  39. sense to me put I suppose it's possible?
