  12. A way to defragment the uncompressed part of a compressed disk:

  14. Copy everything away, delete everything (except the big file),
  15. and copy it back.

  17. This should work no matter which compression program is used.
  18. Take care with files that need to be at a special place on your disk,
  19. though.
