- Hi netters!
-
- The OSI standard specifies that a week starts monday,
- i.e monday is defined as the first day of the week,
- sunday the 7th (there is no zeroth).
-
- I know that this is not in line with the etymology of
- the names 1st day 'fiat lux' day of light -->
- day of sun, etc. but the standard is well in agreement
- with the way life goes practically in a lot of countries.
-
- So why is Microsoft so obstinate in starting its
- 'calendar' Window program on Sundays? I thought that would
- be corrected in 3.1 but nothing has changed (I mean this
- should be an option). I otherwise find the program useful.
-
- Has someone figured out how to (binary path?) set it for
- starting on mondays or has a special version?
-
- Thanks,
- Jean-Paul V. Jeral
