  17. I installed linux 0.97 pl1+ on a 486/25 with an Adaptec 1542 SCSI controller.
  18. Works OK, except that the driver is a bit slow - that'll change when the
  19. elevator code goes in. :)

  21. I couldn't get the st patch to work with 0.97, though - it kept telling
  22. me that it couldn't read off the drive. :(
