- Hi other faithful GNU emacs believers!
-
- I just ftp'd over a copy of gnus-3.14.1.tar.Z and uncompressed and
- untared it, but now what? I ended up with a bunch of .el files, should
- I use the byte compiler on them? There is a Makefile on there, should
- I run make? There is a FAQ.GNUS which contains only the following:
- Answers to Frequentry Asked Questions
- about GNUS

- A.1
-
- This is not overly helpful to me! Can anyone send me the gnus faq? Or
- tell me where to get one? Is there a manual insert for this stuff?
-
- This is the first time I ever tried to get and install one of these
- emacs extensions. Once I get it all in my emacs/lisp directory, how do
- I invoke it? Do I use the load-library command?
-
- Lot's of questions, I know. I hope I can get some answers. I've
- already read the emacs faqs and manual.
-
- Thanks!
- Ed Hartnett
-
- PS Maybe some of this info should be included in the FAQs?
