  15. I just ftp'd over a copy of gnus-3.14.1.tar.Z and uncompressed and
  16. untared it, but now what? I ended up with a bunch of .el files, should
  17. I use the byte compiler on them? There is a Makefile on there, should

  27. This is not overly helpful to me! Can anyone send me the gnus faq? Or
  28. tell me where to get one? Is there a manual insert for this stuff?

  30. This is the first time I ever tried to get and install one of these
  31. emacs extensions. Once I get it all in my emacs/lisp directory, how do
  32. I invoke it? Do I use the load-library command?

  34. Lot's of questions, I know. I hope I can get some answers. I've
  35. already read the emacs faqs and manual.
