- Question for you Crosstalk for Windows experts:
-
- I am trying to connect my new V.32bis modem with older non-error-
- correcting modems, and I have the correct settings written to
- alternate configuration register 1 (i.e. "ATZ1" correctly sets up the
- modem).
-
- Since Crosstalk does not have a "terminal mode," where AT commands
- can be sent directly to the modem (as in QModem), I attempted to write
- a script. After trying many different angles, such as changing the MODIFIER
- string, it would still automatically do an "ATZ" (instead of ATZ1)
- every time I used the CALL or DIAL command.
-
- So the overall problem statement is: Is there any way to associate a
- particular modem configuration with a particular phone book entry?
-
- If you know how to do this in QModem as well, please let me know.
