- Currently Fidonet and it seems this newsgroup as well is full of SUPRA
- related chat. My personal opinion would be that SUPRA have yet to sort
- out certain ROM based problems with their SupraFax V32bis model.
- Although very good value I would be reluctant to buy one as yet.
- The feeling in Fidonet from people who use these modems is that for
- calling out they are very good, but for incoming calls they cannot
- be relied upon.
-
- I purchased a Miracom Courier V32bis model and find it very reliable
- for both in and outgoing calls. This model is known under the
- USRobotics label in the States. If you are going for a UUCP connection then
- it would be worthwhile establishing whether PEP modems with UUCP
- spoofing capability yield higher throughput than V32bis models.
