  27. Currently Fidonet and it seems this newsgroup as well is full of SUPRA
  28. related chat. My personal opinion would be that SUPRA have yet to sort
  29. out certain ROM based problems with their SupraFax V32bis model.
  30. Although very good value I would be reluctant to buy one as yet.
  31. The feeling in Fidonet from people who use these modems is that for
  32. calling out they are very good, but for incoming calls they cannot
  33. be relied upon.

  35. I purchased a Miracom Courier V32bis model and find it very reliable
  36. for both in and outgoing calls. This model is known under the
  37. USRobotics label in the States. If you are going for a UUCP connection then
  38. it would be worthwhile establishing whether PEP modems with UUCP
  39. spoofing capability yield higher throughput than V32bis models.
