  3. You can use images created with 
  4. the painting programs GEM Paint and 
  5. PC Paintbrush in your document.
  6.  
  7. All pictures can be sized by making 
  8. the frame larger or smaller. They 
  9. can also be cropped and edited.

  14. LOADING A PICTURE
  15.  
  16. To load a picture into a document, 
  17. choose Import picture in the File 
  18. menu. When the form appears, select 
  19. the type of picture file you want 
  20. and click on OK. Use the Item 
  21. Selector to select your picture and 
  22. click on OK.

  24. To place the picture into a frame, 
  25. select the frame, then click on the 
  26. name of the picture in the browser.
  27. PICTURE SIZE AND POSITION

  29. Double-click on a picture frame to 
  30. display information about its size 
  31. and position. Pictures can be sized 
  32. and positioned accurately by editing 
  33. this information.

  40. DELETING A PICTURE

  42. To remove a picture from your 
  43. document, select the picture frame 
  44. and double-click on its name in the 
  45. browser. When the Alert appears, 
  46. click on DELETE.

  55. To cut an image to size, select its 
  56. frame and choose Crop picture in the 
  57. Graphics menu. Drag a box inside the 
  58. image with the "scissors" to mark 
  59. the portion to be shown in the 
  60. frame.

  66. EDITING AN IMAGE FILE

  68. To edit an image file, select its 
  69. frame and click on Edit picture in 
  70. the Graphics menu. Add and delete 
  71. pixels in the window using the 
  72. mouse. Click on the close box to 
  73. save the edited image or cancel the 
  74. edit.
