- PARAGRAPH STYLES

- Every paragraph of text in a
- document can be given its own
- style. Use the Paragraph menu or the
- function keys to set the paragraph
- indent and justification format. The
- Style menu or browser or quick keys
- are used to set the text style of
- part or all of your paragraph.

- PARAGRAPH STYLES (continued)

- Switch to Text mode by clicking on
- the T icon in the toolkit. Place the
- text cursor within a paragraph and
- either click on the required style
- in the Paragraph menu or press the
- appropriate function key.

- SWITCHING PARAGRAPH STYLES

- To give a paragraph a different
- style, place the text cursor within
- it and click on a style name in the
- Paragraph menu. Alternatively, press
- the appropriate function key.

- CHANGING JUSTIFICATION FORMAT
-
- To change the justification format
- of a paragraph, place the text
- cursor within that paragraph. Select
- the new format (justified, flush
- left, centred, flush right) from the
- Paragraph menu.

- You can also use the function keys
- F1 (flush left), F2 (justified),
- F3 (centred) and F4 (flush right).

- SETTING INDENTS
-
- Use the Paragraph menu to set first
- line indents or outdents with either
- flush left or justified text. Place
- the text cursor within the paragraph
- to be indented and choose a
- paragraph style from the Paragraph
- menu.

- You can also use function key
- alternatives.

- TAB STOPS
-
- The Left paragraph style includes a
- number of fixed tab stops. Press the
- tab key to move the text cursor
- ahead to the next tab stop.

- The other paragraph styles treat
- tabs as spaces.

- CHANGING FONT AND POINT SIZE

- To change the font and point size of
- a paragraph or block of text, mark
- it and choose Font/size from the
- Style menu (or press [Alt][T]) to
- display the Font/size form. When the
- form appears, select the font and
- point size you require and click on
- OK.

- To change the font and point size of
- any text to be typed at the cursor
- position, choose the font or size
- from the Style menu before typing.

- FUNCTION KEYS

- The function keys have been assigned
- to various paragraph styles. (These
- paragraph styles are also available
- from the Paragraph menu.) Place the
- text cursor within a paragraph and
- press the appropriate function key
- to change its paragraph style.

- TEXT STYLE

- To change the style of the text in a
- paragraph, first mark it as a block,
- then do one of the following:

- browser
