  12. I wrote a strange sentence here recently.  I wrote something
  13. which appeared to say that Heisenberg was a victim of the
  14. 'doctrines he had taught'... I meant to write 'doctrines
  15. he had been taught'.

  17. My point was that if Heisenberg thought that Nazism was RATIONAL,
  18. but that, instead, we should be IRRATIONAL, then he was as much of
  19. an intellectual victim to the philosophical doctrines underlying
  20. Nazism as were the Nazis themselves.  There is not much rationality
  21. to be found in the collectivist doctrines of Nazism or Italian
  22. Fascism.
