  14. In all fairness, I just picked up a book "Being Homosexual" by Richard A.
  15. Isay. The Homosexualities was done by the dominant camp in psychoanalytics
  16. which belives that homosexuality is a perversion and abberation, and this
  17. goes back to Freud. The same Pillard who reviewed the other book says
  18. "finally a psychoanalytic book that does not presume illness". However,
  19. Isay seems to be in a minority in his field in believing that being gay is
  20. both normal and healthy. So the "truth" is that it is still in dispute
  21. as to whether being gay is healthy or not, and there are "facts" on 
  22. either side of the argument. Anyone who says the argument has been
  23. settled one way or the other is just being PC.
