- It certainly is, astonishingly loud and bright. You can get a reasonably
- good view from Titusville or Cocoa Beach, just outside the KSC. The "VIP"
- tickets, of thousands per launch are issued, let you go to a parking area
- inside the KSC but still miles away from the pad.

- If you call NASA a few months ahead, such tickets can often be had for
- the asking. US citizens can also have their congressmen get them (see,
- they're good for something.)
