- I came back from Wengen (switzerland) on Saturday - here's the state of the
- skiing.
-
- WENGEN - There is only sufficient snow at the top. There is good skiing on the
- Lauberhorn from the 4 man chair above Kleine Scheidegg. Here there are several
- blue and red runs, some a bit icy but not bad. There is also a red and a black
- run down from the Eiger Gletscher train station but these were getting rough.
-
- The Wixi and Fallboden and runs down are closed.
- Few people were using the Mannlichen cable car, I think the runs there are very
- bare.
-
- MURREN - Only two lifts running - the Schilthorn Cable car and a T-bar in the
- Engtal. The snow is quite nice but the skiing is limited to the red and blue
- off the T-bar and the black down from the Schilthorn.
-
- FIRST - Several runs working at the top, nice snow although the black run from
- the top (long lift beginning with G) is getting *very* icy.
-
- Queues aren't too bad in any of these places
-
- The good news - I saw a weather forcast last night and there is snow coming to
- Germany today so Switzerland will probably get it too. The current high can't
- last forever....can it?
-
- Cheers
