  13. I have been a lurker for quite awhile and just love reading all the 
  14. stories about our feline friends.  Well, I just had to write this
  15. and let you all know about my new addition.  She is a two year
  16. old spayed and declawed :( tortie.  She is huge at 12 lbs with
  17. long hair so she looks even larger.  She has quite the motor and
  18. loves attention.

  20. Her background is quite sad -- she was adopted by a college student
  21. in the summer. When fall came around the kitty went to Mom and Dads
  22. who already had two cats.  They did not get along so the college
  23. student took her back but did not have time for her.  Mom and Dad
  24. finally took the cat back and tried to get her to make up to
  25. their two cats.  No luck.  They finally after two years of this
  26. took her to a cat boarding facility.  When asked by the manager of
  27. the facitlity how long she was going to stay, they said forever or
  28. find her a home.  (They did not have the heart to take her to the
  29. humane society).  Anyway Gail (the manager) took her into her home
  30. of six cats and she did not do well - she hid in the closet constantly.
  31. I called Gail to see if her children could go swimming with mine and
  32. she told me about the kitty.  Well I already have two indoor cats,
  33. two outdoor cats for the house and 3 barn cats over at the stables.
  34. I hesitated but when I met the kitty I fell in love with her - she
  35. sat on my lap and purred.  My two cats have adjusted to her in
  36. just two days - I must be lucky cuz now I have 3 cats plus husband
  37. sleeping with me.

  39. The best part is her name cuz it fits so well.  We named her Jello
  40. because I figured there is always room for Jello.  She is a great
  41. addition to our indoor feline family.

  46. Tundra - small calico, fat indoor ruler.
  47. Jello  - large tortie indoor snuggler.

  49. Sugar and Spice - outdoor siblings at the house.

  51. Ben, Charlotte, Twitters - barn mousers and they are great.

  53. Teton, Mocha - austrailian, blue heeler horse chasers.

  55. 21 horses whose names I will not list - 4 of them are ours the rest are
  56.    boarded to keep ours company.

  58. Gladys, George - large gray geese - watch dogs of the geese world.

  60. Myrtle, Frank  - ducks that are the geeses' shadows.
