- 1) It runs under MS-DOS version 3.3 or greater on Intel 808[68] |
- 80[1-4]86 PCs and emulators. Maybe older versions of DOS will
- work as well but they have not been tested. It requires that an
- ANSI driver be installed. It is written in C with a little
- in-line assembler to deal with timer interrupts and keyboard
- i/o. The program was designed and written by John Alesse and me
- for the Motorcycle Safety Foundation
-
- 2) It is available from the Motorcycle Safety Foundation, Irvine
- CA Communications Dept. (714) 727-3227 or via anonymous FTP from
- cerritos.edu. Retrieve the file "SKILL.ZIP" binary FTP and use
- an "unzipper" to extract the files. PKUNZIP.EXE and other
- programs for archive extraction are available from pc program
- archives, bulletin boards, and anonymous ftp sites throughout the
- world.
-
- 3) There is no Unix version, Mac OS version, VMS version, or any other
- non-PC version at this time. The source is not included in the
- distribution. MSF owns the source code and may make it available
- for doing a port on a non-disclosure basis as long as the resulting
- program can be distributed for free or at cost by the MSF. Contact
- Julie Filatoff at the MSF if you want to do a port.
