  14. 1) It runs under MS-DOS version 3.3 or greater on Intel 808[68] |
  15.    80[1-4]86 PCs and emulators.  Maybe older versions of DOS will
  16.    work as well but they have not been tested.  It requires that an
  17.    ANSI driver be installed.  It is written in C with a little
  18.    in-line assembler to deal with timer interrupts and keyboard
  19.    i/o.  The program was designed and written by John Alesse and me
  20.    for the Motorcycle Safety Foundation

  22. 2) It is available from the Motorcycle Safety Foundation, Irvine
  23.    CA Communications Dept. (714) 727-3227 or via anonymous FTP from
  24.    cerritos.edu.  Retrieve the file "SKILL.ZIP" binary FTP and use
  25.    an "unzipper" to extract the files.  PKUNZIP.EXE and other
  26.    programs for archive extraction are available from pc program
  27.    archives, bulletin boards, and anonymous ftp sites throughout the
  28.    world.

  30. 3) There is no Unix version, Mac OS version, VMS version, or any other
  31.    non-PC version at this time.  The source is not included in the
  32.    distribution.  MSF owns the source code and may make it available
  33.    for doing a port on a non-disclosure basis as long as the resulting
  34.    program can be distributed for free or at cost by the MSF.  Contact
  35.    Julie Filatoff at the MSF if you want to do a port.
