- Noemi, there is one caveat to be added. As a proud (and pleased) 1982
- Vision owner It must be noted that I consider the alternator suspect. I
- just had to rebuild mine, a nasty thing on a bike with just over
- 20,000km on it. The joy of these bikes is in their engines, with mounds
- of midrange courtesy a super-sophisticated V-twin. If you need to save
- cash, the unfaired '82 can be a great deal (I paid CDN$800 for my clean
- example), but the 1983 model is the better tourer, with its substantial
- fairing, second disc brake, and slightly improved engine. That said, I
- believe my '82 to be the best middleweight unfaired sport-tourer ever
- made.
