- JRW>Is one piece better than two?
- Usually, No. Two-pieces are more versatile and give up almost nothing in
- protection. The onley real disadvantages are having one more zipper to
- fail, and I suppose the suit could separate in a race-speed crash.
-
-
- JRW>I got an Aerostitch two piece for ChrisMouse and I have a
- JRW>couple of questions. First: the left sleve has three strips
- JRW>of velcro (different lengths) down near the wrist. These
- JRW>pieces won't "crow" to each other as they are all the same
- JRW>type. Does anyone know what these are for?
- Damned if I know.
-
- JRW>Secondly, my suit fits great when I'm on the bike. When I get
- JRW>off, they are too long and the knees kind of bulge. This may
- JRW>be because of the knee pads. I was just wondering if anyone else
- JRW>noticed this?
- This is not only normal, it is deliberate and a sure sign that the
- product you purchased was designed for and by motorcyclists and not by
- some fashion weenie looking for the latest in "biker chic." The idea is
- that when you are in a riding position your knees and arms are
- bent. The suit is designed to fit you when you are in this position, and
- not when you are standing around at parties saying things like, "yep,
- hadda lay 'er down. Happens all the time."
-
- JRW>BTW, I don't know if my anti "Socialized Medicine" post made it
- JRW>but, to the guy that said he was a Capitalist pig but was in
- JRW>favor of socialized medicine: You, sir, are no Capitalist.
-
- Canada has Socialized Medicine. I will not speak pro or con except to
- say that one sleeps better knowing that the safety net is there.

- * SLMR 2.0 * If this were an actual tagline, it would be funny.
