- The vet who pre-purchase-examined my new Paso found a bit of sand in her
- manure and recommended psyllium. He suggested something like the Equi-Aid
- which I've subsequently used on all three of our horses for 2 months now.
- Vet recommended the following regimen: 1 cup/day for 1 week per month,
- rest the other 3 weeks. I mix it with a scoop of All-In-One or sweet COB
- and they lap it up. I'm going to do it for another cycle then do that
- "sand wash" test he charged me $10 for and see if this works!
-
- I am also interested in others' experience with this stuff. Is it better
- than a bran mash (which is cheaper, I think)?
