  14.   Hi.  My name is Bernadette Feyerharm and I live in DeKalb IL.
  15. I was reading the digest from rec.equestrian (I am on Equine-l and
  16. can't receive or post to rec.equestrian) and came accross your post.
  17. Do you keep your horses at Lamplight??  My horse is in Malta IL and
  18. is about 45 minutes away from there.  I would be interested in going
  19. on a trail ride sometime this summer.  Just let me know!
  20.   You also had a question about Pinto vs Paint.  Well I like to
  21. answer that by saying that my horse is registered Pinto because she
  22. has spots and Paint because she is a quarter horse that has spots.
  23. Pinto is a color registry.  Any horse with spots (except Appys) can
  24. be registered as a Pinto.  However only certain breeds can be
  25. registered as Paints.  Any Paint is a Pinto but not every Pinto is a
  26. Paint!  I believe only warmbloods and quarter horses that have Pinto
  27. markings may be registered as Paints but I am not entirely sure on
  28. that one!  If you have any more questions, I will be happy to try to
  29. answer them.
  30.   Oh, BTW, I ride dressage and have done a bit of saddleseat, a bit
  31. more western and still a bit more huntseat riding in the past.  I
  32. have done primarily dressage for the last 7 years.  I also worked
  33. for a time at Tempel Lipizzans in Wadsworth.
