- Hi.
-
- I'm trying to sell my '69 Karmann Ghia. Here are the specifics.
-
- GOOD ASPECTS: New Paint, No Body Rust, Totally Straight Body
- New Seals, Runs well as a daily driver, all parts
- are stock with very little missing, new dash face
- and pad installed, rebuilt electrical system to
- stock according to the Bentley Guide (no shorts),
- meets Washington emission specs, new brakes
-
- BAD ASPECTS: Unrestored seats and carpet, pops out of reverse
- gear when cold (worn transmission mounts according to
- my mechanic) doesn't have problems with any other gear,
- steering box needs adjustment (about 3" of slop), needs
- new shocks installed (I have them but haven't put them
- on), has just over 100,000 miles on an engine rebuilt once
- before (although it runs well), missing left back bumper
- arm
-
- There it is. I want $2000 for it and can't afford to go any lower as I've
- put more than that into it. When I was in high school I could afford both,
- but now that I'm out on my own I need the money to keep my other ghia running.
- If there's anyone out there who'd like a restoration project, this one's half
- way there. BTW I have reciepts for everything I've done to the car totalling
- $3500.
-
- If you are interested, drop me some mail.
