  13. I'm trying to sell my '69 Karmann Ghia.  Here are the specifics.

  15. GOOD ASPECTS:    New Paint, No Body Rust, Totally Straight Body
  16.         New Seals, Runs well as a daily driver, all parts
  17.         are stock with very little missing, new dash face
  18.         and pad installed, rebuilt electrical system to
  19.         stock according to the Bentley Guide (no shorts),
  20.         meets Washington emission specs, new brakes
  21.  
  22. BAD ASPECTS:    Unrestored seats and carpet, pops out of reverse
  23.         gear when cold (worn transmission mounts according to
  24.         my mechanic) doesn't have problems with any other gear,
  25.         steering box needs adjustment (about 3" of slop), needs
  26.         new shocks installed (I have them but haven't put them
  27.         on), has just over 100,000 miles on an engine rebuilt once
  28.         before (although it runs well), missing left back bumper
  29.         arm

  31. There it is.  I want $2000 for it and can't afford to go any lower as I've
  32. put more than that into it.  When I was in high school I could afford both,
  33. but now that I'm out on my own I need the money to keep my other ghia running.
  34. If there's anyone out there who'd like a restoration project, this one's half
  35. way there.  BTW I have reciepts for everything I've done to the car totalling
  36. $3500.
