- Subject is clutch for racing/rallying.
- My standard GTI small diameter does not handle the strain, you have to
- let go of the pedal harsh or else it start to slip.
- I will not upgrade to a large diameter, was more thinking of higher
- pressure onto the small diameter one, perhaps a four-puck cheramic will do
- the trick.
- So - has anyone experienced what the four-puck will do, or not do ?
- AP has a few nice 3-4-6 puck friction discs.
- -
- There is ordinary looking frictiondisc around, having an increased pressure
- plate above the GTI one, perhaps one of theese will do.
- -
- The "lump" will produce at least 130 HP to the clutch, but planned to increase
- somewhat depending on what the "head" will give when massaged.
- Data:1600 GTI,mod camshft,K-jetr,close-ratio-low-geared-g-box in a Golf/Rabbit shell.
- ! well.... Christer
