  21. We repainted our '86 last year, mostly because of rust -- but I still think
  22. it was remarkably rust-free.  We live in salt-happy Ontario, and yet the only
  23. spots where rust spontaneously appeared was the rear apron welds under the
  24. rear bumper, and a small spot under the black tape on the hatch.  All others
  25. were dings or scrapes -- the big reason for the paint wad the extensive rust
  26. around the windshield, caused by the idiots who replaced the first windshield
  27. way back in '86.  Oh, and the car had had body panels repainted three times
  28. already for various accidents and dings, so I figured it'd be nice to have a
  29. car that's all oen colour!  :)

  36. Seat frames OK, reupholstered seat bolsters.  Replaced both mufflers twice
  37. so far -- half of them under the muffler warranty.  :)
