  17. Does anybody understand the new traction control mechanisms?  I've got
  18. the Passat GLX brochures that describes it only as a low speed
  19. traction control system.  Presumably this means that when in snow or
  20. such it prevents wheel slippage (by applying brakes on slipping
  21. wheel???).  Is this correct?  Does this mean that I will not be able
  22. to exit tight parallel parking spaces by applying handbrake, turning
  23. the steering wheel and spinning the front tires?  (This is sort of a
  24. reverse "J" turn).
