  14. I have posted this to *.aquaria at the request of Steve Szabo,
  15. 73067.452@CompuServe.COM. Steve, in turn, posted to the killie net,
  16. at the request of Ginny Eckstein. I know Chuck Davis for a few years from
  17. the North Jersey Aquarium Society, and have enjoyed his talks and the
  18. few personal interactions we've had. Many of us read his column published
  19. monthly in Aquarium Fish Magazine.

  23. I don't know how many of you may know Chuck Davis.  I do know that some of
  24. you do.  You may know, even, of the recent legal problems that have ensnared
  25. him.  Anyhow, Chuck has recently been convicted on several counts in federal
  26. court.  The following was posted on CIS in the FISHNET forum by Ginny
  27. Eckstein, one of Chuck's many friends.  An ensuing phone call to me from
  28. Ginny also added some information, which I have tacked into Ginny's original
  29. msg.  Chuck does need the support of the friends he has made in this hobby
  30. right now.  If you can honor the follow request, please do so.  If you can
  31. pass this along other routes (including the aquaria groups on INTERNET)
  32. please help us get the word out.

  34. I'm writing the following with a heavy heart--Chuck needs our help...If you
  35. would be willing to write a character letter for him it would be greatly
  36. appreciated.  In the letter please cover the following in your own words: How
  37. long you know Chuck?  HOW do you know him--personal friend (fish), business,
  38. community and/or charity activities, other, all or any of the above, family.
  39. What kind of person is Chuck?  Any other remarks you may wish to convey to the
  40. court.  YOU MUST STATE THAT YOU KNOW CHUCK HAS BEEN CONVICTED OF CRIMES UNDER
  41. FEDERAL LAW.
