  20. It's probably written down somewhere, but I don't have it here.  However,
  21. I believe my solution to be stronger than is optimal.  Since calcium
  22. hydroxide almost works, I suspect that the way to determine a good
  23. concentration would be to mix up a solution of sodium hydroxide with a
  24. hydroxyl concentration that is a bit higher than that of saturated calcium
  25. hydroxide, and then slowly increase the concentration until you get
  26. reliable kills.  It might not take that much more.  I don't know for sure
  27. if similar hydroxyl concentrations have similar lethality, but this seems
  28. like a reasonable ballpark estimate.  You could also match pH's instead,
  29. which would probably give you a similar initial concentration.

  32. guess I could leave them alone for a while until I have enough "volunteer"
  33. test polyps.
