- This already happened. In a recent news article Walmart announced:
- Wal-Mart Stores Inc., the nation's largest retailer, said its
- board of directors declared a 2-for-1 stock split in the form of a
- 100-percent stock dividend. The stock dividend will be distributed
- Feb. 25 to shareholders of record Feb. 2.
