  31. A week or so ago Frame announced a 'merger' with Verity, a text
  32. retrieval software start-up. However, since Verity is going to cost
  33. them a fair amount of money, I'm sort of surprised the stock went
  34. up on that alone. The market in general (software makers especially)
  35. did well that week and much of this. Consider Creative Labs which
  36. jumped 10 points in the last two days, and 18 since going public 
  37. 5 months ago.
