- It is also know as food poisoning. The illness is not called salmonellosis,
- but the name escapes me at the moment. It is a bacterial infection that
- effects the gut. You end up getting sick as a dog and you could dehydrate
- to the point that you end up in the hospital. No long term effects that I
- know of.
