  14. Someone here is having troules with biff on a Sun 3 (I think) running 4.1.2.
  15. I can't get biff to *not* work on any of my machines but recall having trouble
  16. with it in the past.  It seems that it must be something on this particular
  17. machine.  The fellow to which I refer is connected with a serial line going
  18. to a Mac, although I don't see how that could make much of a difference.
  19. He sets 'biff y' in his .login and sure enough the offering '% biff' is greeted
  20. with the familiar 'biff is y'.  However, he is not being notified about the 
  21. arrival of new mail.
