  12. We have just purchased a NeXT CD ROM player and I cannot seem to get it to be  
  13. recognized.  It's set to SCSI id 5 I get a the following message at boot up:

  15. Sony CD ROM  sd1 at sc0 at target 5
  16. SD1 UNIT ATTENTION
  17. Waiting for drive to come ready.....
  18.  
  19. and then continues skipping over the CD ROM player.  Any thought would be  
  20. appreciated.  Thanks.
