  15. Is anyone familier with the problem with system 7.1 and sometimes
  16. dissapearing Items on the Desktop (including the hard drive) within open
  17. dialog boxes....

  19. A related problem seems to be an inability to start file sharing.. I know
  20. of two machines that have come up with this problem, and the only
  21. solution I got from the help line was to reformat the hard drive and
  22. start all over again.
