- While I normally have nothing but good things to say about APS, I don't think
- what's happening is "normal"

- I've recent read in MacUser that Quantum admits they had a problem with their
- drives for a while where the drives would unnecessarily do a "temperature
- recalibration" every few minutes. I believe the symptoms you describe fit this
- scenario.
