  17. what's happening is "normal"

  19. I've recent read in MacUser that Quantum admits they had a problem with their
  20. drives for a while where the drives would unnecessarily do a "temperature
  21. recalibration" every few minutes.  I believe the symptoms you describe fit this
  22. scenario.
