- I posted a few days ago about hooking a HP to a modem. Today, i went
- and got the necessary adapters, and hooked it all up.
-
- I am using program vt52 from seq.uncwil.edu from the
- directory hp48/comp.sources.hp48/volume07
-
- This program seems to work fine, except that after i connect to
- another computer, many of the characters are missing. It seems
- like the modem is sending the characters too fast to the HP.
- I changed the Xon/Xoff settings in IOPAR. Still no help.
-
- I'm dialing in at 1200 baud.
- My IOPAR string is {1200 2 1 1 1 0}
- I'm using an Intel 2400e modem.
- (The modem responds fine to all of my commands, and receives all
- keystrokes... all messages are sent fine to the HP display (CARRIER
- DETECT, OK, etc))
-
- If there's a better term program, that will buffer the incoming
- information, could someone point me there....
-
- Any info would be greatly appreciated....
-
- thanks
