- Hello,
- Cueently, I'm having some problems using Term 2.4 with the xemvt340
- vt340 emulator. I don't know if it's the emulator, or Term, but it
- seems to crash an exhorbanant amount of the time. I just discovered
- that I could get it to reliably crash the system by using the more
- command dialed up to a Ultrix machine. In my opinion, that is unusable.
-
- Have other people noticed this behavior? Is there a cure? I've taken
- to leaving Term out on my workbench, so I can quickly double-click on it
- after the system reboots. (This cures the problem by switching me to
- ANSI/vt100 emulation, but it's still an inferior solution.)
-
- Also, the documentation for the xemvt340 library claims that F-keys 6-20
- are F6-F20 on all Amigas. I would be very pleased if someone could tell
- me where F11-F20 is on my Amiga 2000 keyboard. I need those keys for
- WordPerfect.
-
- For the most part, I like Term. If it didn't crash as often, and if I
- could use WordPerfect, it would replace Ncomm (which I use because of
- the transfer options), and Handshake (which I use for VT220 emulation).
-
- Thank you for your support.
