  11. As a new subscriber I guess I should introduce myself: my name is
  12. Andras Kornai, and I'm working as a computational linguist at
  13. Calera Recognition Systems, an optical character recognition
  14. company. I joined the list to find out what electronic resources
  15. are available for those interested in Burmese, Khmer, Laotian,
  16. in the form of word-processors, spell-checkers, dictionaries,
  17. screen fonts, or just on-line text. Are there ftp sites for
  18. such material, or people who could make something available
  19. (possibly for a fee) over the net? I am particularly interested
  20. in machine-readable texts in any of these languages, and in
  21. learning about ascii transliteration schemes (if there are
  22. more or less standard ones) -- any help would be greatly
