- In our first attempt to convert from MVS/XA to MVS/ESA, the LB610 job stream
- failed due to a problem related to 31-bit addressing in a PL/1 run-time module.
- The systems programmer eventually installed a fix from IBM which he describes as
- follows:

- IBMBLIIA abended 0C4 at offset 1810 or at 180A. Reason: trying to address a
- field in the CSCB control block (which is loaded above the line) while executing
- in 24-bit mode. Component in error is "common library" level 202. Fix number
- is UL95133 at the 9107 level.
