- Igor Nabelek's wide-ranging response to my comments on Artur London's "The
- Confession" refers to Mlynar as a member of the Communist Party leadership
- in February 1948.I assume he is thinking of Zdenek Mlynar, the author of
- "Night Frost in Prague" and leading figure in the 1960s reform movement. He was
- a member of the CP leadership in 1968 but not twenty years before when he
- was only a 17-year old student. It is somewhat unfair to see his name
- alongside those of Gottwald and Slansky.
