  12. Igor Nabelek's wide-ranging response to my comments on Artur London's "The
  13. Confession" refers to Mlynar as a member of the Communist Party leadership
  14. in February 1948.I assume he is thinking of Zdenek Mlynar, the author of
  15. "Night Frost in Prague" and leading figure in the 1960s reform movement. He was
  16.  a member of the CP leadership in 1968 but not twenty years before when he
  17. was only a 17-year old student. It is somewhat unfair to see his name
  18. alongside those of Gottwald and Slansky.
