- hello Alecia,
- I am too new to this system, but unlike you, I am Deaf.
- I feel that if you really enjoy learning the language and like working with
- Deaf people, then why not go ahead and pursue your dreams.
- `
- I think it is important to realize that sincerity in your interest
- in the Deaf Culture is greatly appreciated. As for the possible
- use of a signing librarian would also be a big help!
-
- My reasoning is that many deaf people do not like books and libraries because
- they do not understand them. So, when an individual like yourself presents
- the information in a language that is easily understood, it greatly facilates
- the interest and learning process.
-
- Good luck and let me know what you decided.
