  14. I am too new to this system, but unlike you, I am Deaf.
  15. I feel that if you really enjoy learning the language and like working with
  16. Deaf people, then why not go ahead and pursue your dreams.

  18. I think it is important to realize that sincerity in your interest
  19. in the Deaf Culture is greatly appreciated.  As for the possible
  20. use of a signing librarian would also be a big help!

  22. My reasoning is that many deaf people do not like books and libraries because
  23. they do not understand them.  So, when an individual like yourself presents
  24. the information in a language that is easily understood, it greatly facilates
  25. the interest and learning process.
