  12. Hi Alecia....welcome aboard.
  13. In San Francisco there is a dept./section for the deaf.  The two
  14. librarians sign for the deaf clients.  One is deaf and one is normal
  15. hearing.  There is funding for both the librarians and I often visit
  16. this dept.  They have a great collection of materials on deaf issues
  17. and these two signers are most helpful.  If you are interested in
  18. pursuing competency in signing, why not try it and find out for yourself?
