  16. I don't know if it's the first film version but MGM did a silent
  17. version of BEN HUR that was swell - the race probably is more
  18. exciting than the later rendition - It also had some scenes in color -
  19. Beyond my comment about the race I don't think one could say either
  20. is better - They are two enyt
  21. (sorry) They are two entirely different films with very different
  22. production values
