  13. CSU, Fresno has just been upgraded to Version 4.5.  And some of the problems
  14. that were put on the Enhancement Requests for the Users Group to vote
  15. on, we believe, have been fixed.  I thought maybe I should mention
  16. them so that you may exercise your quota of 10 Urgent votes on other
  17. urgent items.

  19. Ver.3 #90 - OCLC download process now DOES preserve the order of tagged fields
  20.  
  21. Ver.4 #122 - In CEHD (Holdings Default Setup) menu, you can define the
  22. default institution, sublocation codes, etc.   If you have your Cat.
  23. ports to be Diacritics port, then you have to go into that port setup
  24. and define it there.  I had done it for the Default and Login specific
  25. port and not seen it work for a week.  Finally when I went it and
  26. corrected it for the Diacr. port, it started working.

  28. Ver.4 #123 - In the same menu (CEHD), you can set this flag to 1 to
  29. not get thrown out to the search screen.

  31. Ver.4 #147 - In AR screen the date due as well as the date returned
  32. shows.

  34. Ver.4 #205 - Setting a dollar amount for printing INVOICES is possible
  35. and is working.  We have ours set for $5.00.  I am not sure about the
  36. statements though.

  38. Ver.4 #204 - I believe this is possible in 4.5.

  40. Ver.4 #203 - Happy to say that microprocessor-based Circ. Backup
  41. worked finally!  I can supply the details after ALA conference if
  42. anyone is interested.  However, we have to checkin and checkout for
  43. renewals.

  45. Ver.4 #281 - This works!  You only need to enter the first letter of
  46. the search option and press [CR] to jump to the index of your choice
  47. on the main menu of OPAC.

  49. Now, I would like to lobby for a couple of items which we consider
  50. Urgent.

  52.      Ver.4 #133 - Volume sorting.  It works in reverse-chronological
  53.           order.  However, there is more to volume sorting than
  54.           chronologically ordering, such as bi-annuals, parts, etc.  I am
  55.           forwarding the specifics to Richard Griffin.

  57.      Ver.4 #78 - This is a huge problem for us in that we also have
  58.      "semester hours" and "between semester hours," the latter of which
  59.      falls between the cracks.  Manually changing each day as exception is
  60.      really cumbersome.
