  14. KCBS is the lead EBS station these days (KNBR got kicked WAY down the chain
  15. after the earthquake), in the "North Bay".

  17. Santa Clara County has its own organization.  KSJX 1500 is the lead station,
  18. followed by KEEN and KLOK.

  20. In state/local activations, stations are not REQUIRED to repeat the lead
  21. station, but damn well better get the information out.

  23. In a missiles-are-in-the-air national emergency, non-participating stations
  24. will sign off, and everybody else will repeat the lead station.

  26. In the recent FCC Bureaucracy Check, we discovered that we are considered
  27. a "primary" (participating) station, when we had thought we were non-
  28. participating.  Well whaddaya know...
