- Nice to hear the EBS system actually being used for a change.
- But I have a couple of questions about last week's flood-
- warning alerts.
-
- First let me mention that I heard three alerts in all. Two were
- on KCBS, and one was on KTVU rebroadcasting audio from KCBS.
-
- Has KCBS replaced KNBR as the designated primary EBS station
- in this area? Or do subsidiary stations only slave themselves
- to the primary station in case of a higher-level emergency?
- I.e., are there degrees of EBS alerts, and this one was low
- enough not to require everyone to use the same audio feed?
- Is there still a level at which everyone but the primary
- station goes off the air?
