  11. Nice to hear the EBS system actually being used for a change.
  12. But I have a couple of questions about last week's flood-
  13. warning alerts.

  15. First let me mention that I heard three alerts in all. Two were 
  16. on KCBS, and one was on KTVU rebroadcasting audio from KCBS.
  17.  
  18. Has KCBS replaced KNBR as the designated primary EBS station 
  19. in this area? Or do subsidiary stations only slave themselves
  20. to the primary station in case of a higher-level emergency?
  21. I.e., are there degrees of EBS alerts, and this one was low
  22. enough not to require everyone to use the same audio feed?
  23. Is there still a level at which everyone but the primary
  24. station goes off the air?
