  13. I was born and raised in the Bay Area (I'm now forty).
  14. KQED's Bill Moen, along with KPIX's Dave McElhatton and
  15. Bill Hillman and KTVU's Pat McCormack, have been the
  16. defining voices of Bay Area broadcasting for all those
  17. years. I read this morning that KQED has unceremonious-
  18. ly sacked Bill Moen. He IS the voice of KQED! It's fit-
  19. ting that I should hear about this on the day that
  20. Sears jettisoned its catalogue. FEH!
