  28. Could you post the problems with the organization?  It's just that all my
  29. experiences with Surfrider have been great.  They did a wonderful litigation
  30. job against the pulp mills polluting the surf in Humboldt county.  After
  31. working first hand in the stuff (doing water quality samples through the Ocean
  32. MOnitoring Project, Telonicher Marine Lab, Humboldt State), I was really glad
  33. to see some action taken against the companies.  But recently, I have also
  34. had some problems with the org. (lax on keeping members informed, resting on
  35. their one victory in Humboldt, etc.)  I'd hate to see a good org. (founded by
  36. a Humboldt alumni) go to waste once it's got too big, which I fear may be
  37. happening.  Thanks for any info.
